Awesome ambiance from the lighting, to the decor, to the music. Sweet staff. Loved our waitress and the chef. The food was beautiful and tasty and came quickly. There are lots of excellent non-sushi food items for the less-adventurous diners. A bit pricey, but that's to be expected with good sushi. Not too busy at the start of dinner time. Nice new gem north of Denver.

This is hands down the best sushi place in the Denver area! The food is incredible and the service might even be better. We were so distracted by how good the food was that we forgot to take pictures of everything. You won't regret having dinner here. Shawn, Josie, Ben and the rest of the staff will take care of you.

The food here is amazing! We started with the tempura appetizer, and it was the best tempura  I've ever had. It was very light with perfectly crisp panko flakes. Delicious! For our meal we had four rolls of sushi. The fish was very fresh and each roll was delicious. A special touch at Matsumotto is that they freshly grate wasabi instead of serving green horseradish paste. Once you taste the difference, there is no going back. I highly recommend this restaurant.
